In the book "Things Not Seen" my connection this week is to Bobby's (the main character) mom. Latly she reminds me a lot of my mom. For example when she said "Ho god, Ho god you are invisable", after she said that he said that she always over reacts. Which is the exact same thing I think about my mom! Like when I fell of my bike she was so worried! But in this case I kind of agree with his mom. If my son just turned invisable one morning I would probobly worry just as much as his mom did. And I don't really think that his mom is over reacting.
Another example why I think my mom reminds me of Bobby's mom is the way she reacted when Bobby told her that he was invisable. This is how Bobby described that moment "she lookes at dad and smiles that "kids!" smile" when he said that I had a picture in my mind of his mom turning to his dad and smiling this weird smile that my mom does when my sister says silly things. I thought it was really weird that his mom did that when my mom does it all the time. I don't know, maybe it's something that parents do often?
