The Hunger Games

          In the book the hunger games katnnes choses to go to the hunger games instead of her sister that was origionaly chosen. At the begining I thout it was a really bad move and i didn't think that if I was her I would do that but then it started making sence.
         The first reason why I think it was smart of her to volenteer instead of her sister is because she is older so she has a bigger chance to survive. I would think that a 16 year old girl has a better chance to win or be one of he last people to dye than the chances of a 12 year old gir. I think thoes 4 years between them are important. Also she is going to be one of the oldest kids there since the comperishion is up to 18 year old kids.
          The second reason why I think it's smart to go instead of her sister is that she always goes hunting in the forest with Gale. I guess tat the hunger game competition is kindof like hunting. This meant thet she is "ahead" in the competition. When I think about it maybe these are one of the reasons she desided to go instead of her younger sister.
          The last reason i pretty obvious, I think she mostly went because of the love towards her sister. She has enough problems about her family I don't think she can really avoid her sister dying. I wouldn't want my young brorher or sister to get killed in a reality competition. Katnnis prbobly felt like that when she herd that her sister was picked to do so it was like a reflex to volenteer to go.
          But after all these resons that she might go, it's still not a very good idea to do this. Although she has all these great chances of winning only one person gets to come out alive, so most chances are that she wont. So after all this idea might have not bent the best idea she had yet.
